RULES & CONDITIONS FOR THE LIONS ENVIRONMENTAL PHOTO CONTEST
(PLEASE INSIST TO THE PARTICIPATING LION TO READ CAREFULLY)
Every Lion from a Club in “good standing” can enter a genuine & authentic photograph of his/her immediate surroundings into the club-level Lions Environmental Photo Contest. Lions can enter an original, unaltered, black-and-white or color photo (without people) of the environment of their Lions club in the following 2010-2011 Lions Environmental Photo Contest categories:
- Animal Life
- Plant Life
- Urban or Natural Landscape
- Weather Phenomenon
- Special Theme: Beacon of Hope for the Environment
“Photos of Lions in action implementing an environmental project."
LIONS CLUBS select and submit one 8” x 10” (20.3 x 25.4 cm) winning photo to the District 308-A2, through the District Chairperson for Environmental Services (Sarawak) & (B/S/Labuan) on or before October 22, 2010. All Photos will be judged by THREE judges, ofwhich one shall be DG Lion Augustine Ngu, 2 are out-sourced professional photographers, on October 30, 2010 at Tang Dynasty Hotel Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

LIONS DISTRICTS select and submit one winning photo to the Multiple District. The suggested deadline for Districts to submit one 8” x 10” (20.3 x 25.4 cm) printed photo to the Multiple District is January 15, 2011

LIONS MULTIPLE DISTRICTS select and submit one winning photo to the international contest. March 1, 2011 is the deadline for multiple districts to submit one 8” x 10” (20.3 x 25.4 cm) printed photograph and an official entry form (available on the Lions Web site) signed by the Council Chairperson to Lions Headquarters.
LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL will display Multiple District-level entries at the Annual Lions International Convention (July 4-8, 2011 at Seattle, Washington, USA). Registered convention attendees will vote for their favorite photos. An award will be presented to the winning photographers. The six (the five category winners and the Best of Show) winning photos will appear on the Lions Web site.

Lion photographers accept responsibility for the cost of taking and processing all photos;

All club-level contest photo entries for District 308-A2 become the property of the District.
Lions Club International District 308-A2 reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not meet contest criteria or that may be viewed as inappropriate or objectionable.
