 Dear Lion members of District 308-A2 ,
Accept Warmest Greeting from District Governor.
I am pleased to announce that our District 308-A2 will be collaborating to do a large scale joint project namely District 308-A1 & 308-A2 Singapore Sarawak Charity Ride 2010 with District 308-A1 (Singapore) held on 10th October 2010 to 14th October 2010.
A group of Charity Cyclists from Singapore will flag off from Kuching on the morning of Sunday 10.10.10 and cycle all the way to Miri to arrive on Thursday 14.10.2010. Along the way from Kuching they will stop for the night at Sri Aman (10 Oct ), Sarikei (11 Oct ), Sibu ( 12 Oct ), Bintulu ( 13 Oct ) then Miri ( 14 Oct ).
All the cyclists and support crew will be paying for their own expenses for the whole trip in an effort to help Sarawak Lions to raise funds for your club designated beneficiaries. The cyclists will therefore be the instruments for your fundraising effort, please indicate each of your zones who will be your club's beneficiaries.

Fellow Lions, I believe that this will be a totally different project experience of a lifetime..plenty of adventure and fun along the way which you will all remember for a long time to come. As Miri will be the finishing point, some of District 308-A1 Lions will be flying in directly from Singapore to Miri on the 14th Oct 2010 and to participate in the Fellowship Night. And I hope the Lions members from Sabah state will also join us at the grand finale in Miri for the fellowship as well.
I urge all the cabinet officers and clubs officers to support this project to your fullest and let us all join hands to promote Lionism spirit thus bringing a "Beacon of Hope" to our community.
