Dear District Governors,
International President Al Brandel is speaking to Lions attending
FORUMS about the 2008-2009 Excellence Awards. The awards strive for excellence in service, administration, leadership, membership and contributions to LCIF. Club presidents, region and zone chairpersons and
you, the governor, are eligible to receive the awards. The awards foster
teamwork among all of these officers.

The president*s presentation outlines the particular requirements for
each of the awards. International President Brandel hopes you will share
the presentation with members in your district and encourage club
presidents and region and zone chairpersons to strive for excellence.Remember, the District Governor Excellence Award is contingent upon the
excellence awards received by the club presidents, and the region and
zone chairpersons in your district.
